Job 37:14 "...Stop and consider carefully the wonderful works of God."

Just spent the past hour and a half enjoying Jehovah's jaw-dropping light shows.

Decided to drive out to the highest point on our farm, for the best view.  It's a hill

about a mile from my front door.

Got there and a big bank of black clouds covered the northern sky.

Not a problem, since Jehovah's strobe lights were coming from all points of the compass.

I've only been completely surrounded by 'northern' lights twice in my 60 some years of

sky gazing.

The first time, about 40 years back, dead of winter, 20 below zero, and the

aurora was coming from 360 degrees and blood red in color.  Incredible to behold.

Tonight's display was even more breathtakingly beautiful!!!  The lights were dancing

up a geomagnetic storm!!!

Plus, while bank after bank of black clouds passed by, I had the lightning display of

a distant thunderstorm, and 40 acres of fireflies to keep me spellbound.

At one point, I got out of my car and just kept turning around and around, overwhelmed

by the SPECTACULAR display of Jehovah's natural forces!!!

I even cried out with joy, like the "morning stars" and "all the sons of God" did.

Job 38:7 "When the morning stars joyfully cried out together, And all the sons of God began shouting in applause..."

Going back out in a bit, to carefully consider more of Jehovah's wonderful shows--er, works.  ^_^

My wife and I have always wanted to see the Northern Lights and haven't had the opportunity yet. I'm so happy for you!

Thanks, Brother Richard!  :D

Here is what Jehovah's 'wonderful works'

looked like from the International Space Station, last night:

The red color is the color of the aurora I saw waaaaaaay back when.

Rosanne do you have a telescope, my husband bought me one at a garage sale ,it is a beginner scope, have you been watching Jupiter and Venus?

Wow!

Interesting that you said "Wow!"

On CBS.com, they said, "It takes a lot to get this astronaut to say 'Wow!'"

But, "Wow!" is what the astronaut said when he saw Jehovah's wonderful works, too.  ^_^

Don't have a telescope, just really good binoculars.

But I've been watching Jupiter and Venus draw closer and closer in the west,

as this month has progressed.

By the end of this month, they will practically be touching...from our earthly point of view, that is.  ^_^

Our meeting just ended and I'm getting ready for Round Two of Jehovah's strobe light show.

The solar flare released on Sunday should be hitting us full force tonight.  It's supposed to

be an even better show than last night's.
