I am so glad that all the friends will be discussing this video this week. It is a sensitive topic, delicate yes, but it has to be addressed.

 

Perhaps many won't have the courage to speak out like Crystal did, but even in their privacy, may they gain comfort from knowing that Jehovah is with them, like a fearsome warrior RNWT2013  (terrible mighty one, NWT1984) - Jeremiah 20:11 These dear brothers and sisters are going through circumstances that we cannot imagine, but Jehovah their Maker, our Maker, sees and knows it all. And he is only too happy to provide help. Just as we considered in this week's Treasures from God's Word, "Day and night, they are the objects of his (Jehovah's) vigilance." 

 

May we cherish these dear ones, treating them with the tenderness they require!

Good points above!

 

We also learn something about abusers, that the vast majority of abuse is perpetrated by someone the victim already know and probably trusts.  I like how we not only learn of the how the victim is affected, but how to deal with negative feelings, and that a support system's importance cannot be overstated.
