Memorable Meeting Moments

[Friends just call me Ross]

Sometimes some pretty funny moments occur before and after

our bi-weekly spiritual banquets.

 

After the meeting this past Sunday, a sister was telling us

about a young couple at their wedding rehearsal.

 

The brother who was going to marry them could tell the two were really uptight, so

to break the tension, he performed the rehearsal like the wedding in The Princess Bride.

 

Everybody cracked up--and lightened up--and the ACTUAL

rehearsal then went on smoothly--and with a lot less jitters.   

 

We then took turns doing our own impressions of The Impressive Clergyman. 

 

Great fun!   

 

 

The Impressive Clergyman: "Mawage. Mawage is wot bwings us togeder tooday. Mawage, that bwessed awangment, that dweam wifin a dweam... "

Peter Cook was an amazing comedian. One of my favourites. I used to watch his show with Dudley Moore - Not Only...But Also - and creased with laughter. When I was at school I used to recite his E.L.Wisty monologues.
