I don't like violence on TV, I have a very low tolerance for any violence,

 

however...

 

I loved watching BattleBots last year and I can hardly wait for season 2 to start on June 23rd. I just watched a 1 hour preview that showed how they selected the last four battlebots for the contest.

 

I think the show is amazing....purely as an engineering challenge....

That show used to be on our cable provider and I loved it ^-^ The robots are highly innovative

There are some amazing robots this year. Some of the concepts are amazing and some are just stupid. 

The show is a competition so the robots are designed to win a battle typically by brute force, however there is a lot of design and strategy involved because there are so many types of robots.

The finale was broadcasted last night, Season 2 is over...

I was in the middle of watching it last night when the power went off. The power was out for about 1.5 hours - I got to see the quarter finals but I missed the semi[final AND the finale.

 

We are having some cable problems, the tech is coming Sunday afternoon - so, I cannot watch it "on demand"

 

Then, today, we lost power again. It was off from about 5 AM till 7 PM - and would have been off till tomorrow or Sunday if I had not called the power company a number of times - sometimes the squeaky wheel does get the ....

 

Anyway, I ended up using the Xfinity app on my tablet - at least I now know who won
