Texas walmart hostage situtation

''An armed man was fatally shot by police after holding two people hostage in an Amarillo, Texas, Walmart store on Tuesday in an incident law enforcement described as workplace violence. The suspect was identified as Mohammad Moghaddam, 54, Amarillo police said, adding he was shot by a police SWAT unit.''

 

This was probably not act of terror but would be interesting to know was he muslim too?

I received a scanner app alert for this this.  While I was listening in, the police were being informed that the gunman had taken two hostages into the manager's office and that he had access to every security camera in the store.  I think the S.W.A.T. team that was about to go in appreciated the heads up on that.  

 

I googled to see how it all unfolded.  Not surprised to read of the gunman's death.  Was relieved that his was the only one.
