Turkey suspends European convention on human rights

France had also had to pass emergency measures due to terrorist attacks.  The article though quotes human rights groups as saying "Turkey, along with Russia, is one of the countries most frequently found by the European court of human rights to have violated the convention."  That seems to indicate that there may be many arbitrary arrests based on so-called "terrorism" and anti-government activity.  We have seen how this has panned out in Russia.

Haha Tim! But I think it's starting to look like travelling down a Hitleresque route. Dictators read from the same script. They just never read the ending though - epic fail.
