Disenfranchised youth?  The killer had tried to enter Syria two times to join in the war and was monitored by police.  How is that going to stop madmen who see their salvation in the destruction of others?  They have no feeling for human beings anymore.  They filmed the killing and performed acts around the altar.

I might be mistaken, but didn't a hostage situation use to be when armed people took hostages in order to negotiate some kind of release, a method of flight, some financial gain?

 

Did these guys make any demands? Because if no, then the media might as well stop talking about a "hostage crisis". It was just another murder in the name of islamistic terror.

 

All this newspeak and media manipulation is really annoying.
