I saw this on Instagram and thought we all should be aware of this.

Please let us pray for our brothers and sisters in Haiti after  hurricane Matthew. For three days we couldn't get any news from them because there wasn't any cellphone service in the south part of the country. Tonight we finally received the news that no one died, but almost every house in Camp-Perrin is destroyed. In the picture, it's their Kingdom Hall. The rooftop is gone, leaving everything inside wet and broken.

I've been praying for our brotherhood in Haiti since I found out about the hurricane, and I'm so relieved to know that no one was killed even though more than 1000 have died.  Talk about gaining perspective!!!! Whatever we think our problems are - look at what our brotherhood is going through in Haiti - no homes, no where to go, no food, no water!  We must let Jehovah know how much we love our brotherhood there and care about them!  Don't just pray- go to jw.org and donate - even a dollar a person in the U.S. will help so much!!!!!

Don't live for the moment - live for the future! :D

Thank you for the update! Please let us know if there are further updates. I'm wondering if we have been able to reach them with help so they will not starve as the news predict?

Proverbs 27:11- Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, So that I can make a reply to him that taunts me.

Don't worry about what the news reports - just dontate via the website so Jehovah can do something through you!

Such a good reminder, Shali. While the prayers of the righteous have much force, we can actually DO something to help. And now with the new online donation feature and the link in the JW Library app, doing so is easier than ever before. Let Jehovah use you to help our brothers by donating!

So many in this forum are focused on thier own problems and don't stop to think that others don't even have clean water or a tiny bit of food to eat for the whole day!  Please go to jw.org and contribute even one small dollar! Jehovah will use that dollar to help as many of our brothers and sisters as he possible can!

Don't live for the moment - live for the future! :D
