Hola!  I want to know if it is true that the mother of Julio Inglesias was studying?  I have been sent a recording of song 138 sung in Spanish supposedly by Julio in gratitude for the help the witnesses gave to his ailing mother, who apparently was studying.  I must say, it does sound like him, and it is a very good singing rendition regardless of who is singing it.  But, it would be nice if someone could verify one way or the other.  I'm not inclined to share it with others until I know.

It's not true. A week ago, it was the same story, but a different name...Joan Manuel Serrat. Please do not share. It's harder to convince brothers in the Spanish that it's a hoax...

 

(P.S. And I have first hand knowledge of this, because I'm in a Spanish congregation.)

Just to confirm what Leonardo said, Julio Iglesias' mother died in 2002, long before that song was published.
