So many earthquakes .... in one place after another .. hmmm.. someone 2000 years ago said something similar.

5.7 magnitude earthquake strikes northeastern India ....  just in.

There are still 28 volcanoes currently erupting right now, too.

Dutchsinse has issued a warning for folks living around Mount Raineer, following

a deep quake below that volcano in Washington state USA, yesterday.

Bogoslof!  I'll have to go check out my Mount St. Helens cam.

I have been watching the Old Faithful's live web cam for weeks now, and I have never seen it let off so much

steam as it has been doing for the past fifty minutes.    I don't think the park ranger controlling the camera has

seen this before either.  Normally, after its scheduled eruption, he/she pans back and over to cover some of the

other 300 geysers in Yellowstone's Geyser Basin, leaving Old Faithful to the right of the screen. 

The camera hasn't moved, it's still the center of attention, and it seems like it just

keeps erupting, over and over.

 

I'm comparing today's activity to what I've been witnessing over the past couple of weeks.

Don't really know, for sure, what--if any--significance  this observation has in the grand scheme of geysers.

Just sayin'...it's not the norm.
