Shock the drum - Ronnie Laws

Correction: shock to the drum.

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

Thanks for posting. I’ve never heard this one from him 🙂

I just found out last week that he is our brother.

And for many years!  I used to sing with a jazz band made up of brothers back in Chicago in 1996 and Ronnie Laws asked us to open for him for his shows in Boston and Milwaukee, WI.  It was great fun.. and he is a very nice brother! :)

Do you know how long he’s been a witness? I was wondering if he was because of the life in paradise song since I’ve seen a paradise compilation picture video a witness put together to that song.
