Bohemian Rhapsody is said to be the best song ever written

IMO, it is a great song. The lyrics and music, not to mention the vocals are impressive. I like the song,  but it wouldn’t make my top 20.

But, no matter ....What is the best song ever written, ... is subjective.

It’s just someone’s opinion.   🎶 :nope::yes:

Pop star in the 70s. Helen Reddy did this song was kind of sad but beautiful.

You and me against the world. Get your tissue box....:crying:

One of my favorite singers from the 60s... Dusty Springfield doing  a great song.

You don’t have to say you love me

Unsure why people think that. The song never pays tribute to Beelzebub or evil, I see it as man suffering the plight of the world and being afraid what Satan has installed for him next.

Matthew, for some reason I've been hearing that song a lot lately, and it was really bothering me, but I like your simple explanation. A little research revealed that Freddie had been raised Muslim, and the song was about him coming to terms with that fact that he had become gay, for which 'Bismillah' (Allah) was condemning him to death. So, the man he killed at the beginning of the song was himself when he chose to embark on a sinful course. Or so the story goes. It does make for an interesting story.

Speaking of great songs. These guys had great harmony

Paul Simon is a songwriting genius. Music and lyrics outstanding and very poetic.

With “The Boxer”, Simon knows how to tell a story.  Highly recommend headphones. :D

How do you make this stuff up? Typical of Simons philosophical and poetic style.

(by the way: Why does "Insert image from URL" not work with in my posts?)

Hi Christina. I don’t know if this will help your situation, but

Here’s how I do it from my iPad.

1. Sign in to YouTube (doesn’t work if I’m not signed in)

2. Go to desired song, hit play.

3. At the top right, click on the icon of an arched arrow, then hit copy link.

4. Then just paste into your post.

This song is about an exotic dancer but it’s not portrayed in a good light...

In the night - The Weeknd

Blinding lights - The Weekend

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.
