Humans are the lowest of the low at times. Not paying attention to signs to STAY off, putting others lives in jeopardy.

This is about 10 miles or so from where I live. The “I can do anything I want and don’t have to obey anyone” makes me so angry. 

 

This is just one of the beautiful areas where I live. 

 

O to live under God’s Kingdom with people who at least show respect for the beauty of Jehovah’s creations.

MUNISING, Mich. (WLUC) - Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore Rangers on Marine Patrol noticed a man on top of the Miners Castle Turret early Tuesday afternoon, leading to a rescue of the man. 

 

At approximately 12:19 p.m. Tuesday, they spotted the 30-year-old Auburn Hills, Michigan, man stranded on the turret. The man had disregarded the warning signs and climbed over the fencing. After climbing the iconic rock formation, he became stranded on the top. 

Alger County Rescue 21 was dispatched. They set up a rope rescue system and a technician was able to rescue the man from the castle. 

The man was charged with three violations of federal law, including Disorderly Conduct - Creating a Hazardous Situation, Trespassing into a Closed Area, and Damaging a Natural Resource. Fines for these violations totaled $690. 

 

Rangers would like to remind the public that entry into closed areas may be unsafe, create a hazardous condition, and result in federal charges.

That fine should be at least doubled. 600+ is not enough. Plus made to pay for the peoples time and equipment they used.
