Can anyone direct me to where I would find the abbreviations of all the languages?  Thanks so much!

I don't have a list of abbreviations, but you can always go to JW.org, change to the language you wish and see which abbreviation appears in the adress bar.

Thank you Friends for your responses.   I meant the abbreviations in the back of our literature.  Is there a reference list that we can go to somewhere to know what language the literature is in?

Oh, you mean the publication titles abbreviations...

There is no definitive list that I know of, but here’s a major list

There is no list of language abbreviations.

Oh I think you mean the  "-E" for English, etc. used in the inside cover of publications to denote the language it's written in?

That's a good question. I'm not sure if there is a list on any of our websites but I'll probably start a stub article for it on the JW wiki.  It's worth having such a list.

That's a list of mnemonic codes for publications. I don't know of a list for languages either. Years ago a brother gave me a language list, with their abbreviations, but it only has 61 languages on it. And that's from several years back, before we had jw.org. Imagine what it would be like to keep up the list now, with new languages being added nearly every week! (As of this moment: 982 languages.)

Thanks! Makes sense.   Just thinking of the languages in my immediate area.  The old Good News for People of all Nations has a few languages there.  I'll figure it out.   Thanks again for your responses.
