This happened a few days ago but I couldn't find anything on here about it.

When an 18-year old described by his classmates as a "calm and quiet" C-grade student executes a plan that kills 20 others, before dying himself without leaving a suicide note, having previously scrubbed his online presence, this is going to give rise to speculation.

...........

Color is added by a neighbor, who claimed that Vladislav showed signs of cruelty and was caught torturing cats in the basement of his apartment block as a child, and was further isolated because his mother was a "cultist." Galina, a nurse at a local hospital, is reportedly a prominent activist with the local Jehovah's Witnesses chapter.

Don't give up .. it's just around the corner.

This is bizarre.  It's so bad it's funny, but only because I live here and not there.  Welcome to the age of fake news.

There is a possibility it is true.   Anything can happen.  Just because a parent is a Witness doesn't mean there is some divine protection on their child and nothing like this is possible.  Still, with the events in Russian controlled territories I'm going to lean toward either fake news or the child was exploited by the Russian government.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

I'm not sure which bit you consider is fake news, (or funny), Shawn. If it's the shooting itself, as it's being reported in multiple news outlets, I think it might be real.

If you're referring to the boy being the son of a Witness as being fake news, you're possibly right and it possibly is. Though there is another paper reporting the same information: According to the Russian Kommersant newspaper, the teenager "grew up in a rather poor family" with a disabled father. The paper said that Roslyakov's mother is a Jehovah's Witness - a Christian organisation considered "extremist" and banned in Russia. https://www.straitstimes.com/world/europe/crimea-mourns-victims-of-school-massacre-dubbed-russian-columbine

However, whether he is or not is totally irrelevant. The point is that it has been said at all, regardless of whether by the neighbour or just artistic licence by the news outlets.  The fact is that it has been reported as such, and is now out there in the public domain and is just another example of their collective mindset and the propaganda that is being directed towards us.
