Bigfoot

So... I am downloading the first 2 episodes of the second season to Animal Planet's "FINDING BIGFOOT". Just curious, am I the only one that believes these things exist? What about other interesting creatures? I LOVED "DESTINATION TRUTH" until it started on the paranormal. GRRR... Only thing I hated was as soon as they were onto whatever they were chasing, had it in their sights, time to pack up and go home. I am hoping this BIGFOOT show is NOT like that. My uncle said that if they were true, someone would have shot one by now. Yeah that makes sense. However... if they are so rare, it would be possible to never have hunted one down. There are many hunters who can go a season without bagging an animal. Deer, bears, coyotes, etc.. they are a plenty. However, bigfoots are rare. Small population. So it would be harder to find one, let alone hunt one. What are your opinions???

Although... I saw this guy on the way to the District Convention. Remember the scene towards the end of the movie when they were driving in rush hour traffic to take Harry back the the mountains? That was actually in the wee morning hours on a Friday in Seattle. My mom has told me that if you watch carefully, you can see us drive by in the oncoming traffic side.

I think that with all our technology these days, they would have been found by now if they existed. Granted, new species of animals are being discovered all the time, but these are usually small specimens in far reaching areas - The bigfoots are huge and supposedly among us.

I tend to agree with Bob. With the infrared technology they have now they could do a flyover and pick up heat signatures very easily, not to mention the details they can get from satellite imaging. So it would be pretty hard for something that big to hide for so long.

UFO's don't belong to aliens from other planets. While I am a believer in life on other planets, I do not believe there is intelligent life like us anywhere else in the physical universe.

Hair?

Any hair today can be DNA tested to determine exactly what it is. If bigfoot hair was discovered, mankind it capable enough to read the DNA sequence and determine what the creature it came from probably looked like.

You're not the only one that watches that show. It's a guilty pleasure for me also. I watched the "Baby Squatch" episode last night. Very interesting. I'm more like the skeptic Renae on the show. I won't believe it until I see it with my own eyes. But there is alot of evidence to suggest "something" is out there. Someone mentioned the hair found in the woods. I remember a different show that did DNA testing on the hair and concluded that it was of primate origin but couldn't be specific which type. I don't know about UFO's. The jury's still out on that one.

We live in Bigfoots backyard (British Columbia) and the folks that claim to have seen him keep it to themselves...same as the Ogopogo...when they finally do tell someone they've seen it they are embarassed because they know people won't believe them. I met one fellow that was water skiing and the Ogopogo came up beside him and then went back underwater - he was almost ashamed and we had to literally pull the story out of him. These kind of reports make it seem more real becuase it's certainly not for the headlines - they really try and keep the sighting to themselves. Makes you wonder!

My son's been talking about Big Foot just today, seems he watched something on Youtube, he really wants it to exist. Me... I dunno, where I live there is talk of a panther. A sister at my hall says she has heard it growling. There has been numerous reports of sightings, even an attack, by reliable people but no hard evidence.

My aunty who is 81 believes that Big Foot does exist, even though she has never seen one. She's talked about them for years, here in Australia we call them Yowies. One night recently, she dreamed one was walking down the hill through the field to the river (she lives on a farm).

Then my graphic design teacher told me he was driving home one night, through the forest, and saw a furry flying thing as big as a bed. I was laughing and joked about this flying bedspread and then felt bad when I realised he was serious and not finding it funny at all.

I guess one day we'll know for sure....
