A 2300-kilometre long dust cloud could reach New Zealand after blanketing Sydney and the south-east of NSW on Wednesday morning.

It reached townsville in North Queensland on Thursday ( approx 2400 km north of Sydney)
it was hard to tell if it was smoke from a bush fire or dust. The air was red. We couldn’t even see magnetic island!
