Jehovah amazes us with his creation. Sometimes you just can't stop looking at an picture. Maybe you want to update your phone, tablet or PC wallpaper.

Meditating on the Bible is the best way to know Jehovah.

Meditating on his Creation, the Universe, is the 2nd best way.🌴🌎

Studying Physics is the best way to learn about his Creation.🤓

This is a picture of a Quasar. Quasars are THE BRIGHTEST objects the Universe has to offer.

I’ve been experimenting with different ‘old’ cameras recently, taking some shots from a tripod on first floor (second USA) windowsills. Here, 1 mile south of LGW.

This is the recent partial lunar eclipse taken with a Canon Powershot S20 at 20x zoom, cropped. (With a hot pixel to the left.) I couldn’t remember how to change the exposure so it was stuck at 1 sec iirc !

Being limited to shooting through open windows I am trying to find out what sort of camera I might want to buy. I borrowed our son’s Powershot SX60 to see if it was capable of discerning any detail on Jupiter, with a quick exposure to avoid blurring. Again I couldn’t work out how to change the exposure, in the dark, with cold hands. I used to know these things!

This is shot with mostly auto settings, apart from focus which I managed to set to infinity. 65x zoom times 21mm = 1365mm (equivalent).

Jupiter is shown with its 4 brightest moons, Io blurring into the side of Jupiter, a few stars to the left. 2019-07-31, late evening.

It’s a great camera but unless digital-zoom can somehow improve things I am not going to see any banding on Jupiter. (Once I have shortened the exposure.)

The Moon a few hours ago with a Sony something at 810mm equivalent, with some digital zoom. Cropped.

Some quite nice detail in the bottom left but I’m going to need a DSLR if I want it any better.

Looking west about 2:30am. Testing the limits of the old Sony camera. (Open window and telephone wire kept in shot for my reference!)

edit: Tarazed slightly pink etc. Stars differing from stars in glory.

The last time I identified Neptune (and Uranus) was lying on my back with a pair of binoculars, at the south coast in 1989.

Taken with my new Canon EOS 250D. 😊

I spake unto Amazon “Bring me more light!”

And behold!, it did arrive the next day, for he was a Prime that was speaking.

I have found this in order to be able to imagine or understand the dimensions above our generally known 3 dimensions.
In all dimensions there are different physical forces, which have different strengths. In addition there is the potentiation or accumulation of the forces, which increases from dimension to dimension.  In the very highest unlimited dimension exists our creator Jehovah. This is my immaterial opinion about dimensions and spaces.

Hi Brother Albert. Thank you for this photo. I just remembered that I am pursuing my life exploring this geometrical fantasies last year, but my Bible instructor @... in the shadows changed my mind. He gave me Ecclesiastes 1:18 which really hit me so hard, then I started to think what should I pursue. Long story short, I made a right decision—I choose the Kingdom.

He knows you better than you know yourself, and he wants to help. :hugs:

You are right, my dear brother. Accumulating worldly knowledge without understanding the meaning and purpose behind it, as well as recognising human limitations, brings unnecessary frustration.
