Where I live in Vancouver, we have a lot of bald eagles that love to sit on top of light poles next to the highways, I see them almost everyday as I’m travelling location to location, they are beautiful birds to watch, there is a certain spot out in the farm land where there seems to be a lot of them. Real fun to watch them.

That's cool. I was doing tile work in Wadsworth/Medina Ohio area and there was a bald eagle nest right across the street. The homeowner had a telescope set up in his living room to get a nice close up view. The little chicks look different, in that they do not have the white head like the adults do. I tried to record some video through the telescope with my phone. I'll try to remember to look it up later.

When I worked at the oil refinery I had access to the security cameras and one of the cameras was on our incoming wharf. When a ship wasn't docked the Security Department would turn the camera to a nest of Osprey that had created a nest in the structure. Many of us watched several families born and raised in that nest, I even named one of them Ozzie...

I am blessed to have a best near my home and see these birds on a near weekly basis ( especially during the winter when the trees permit) .
