My worldly father has been persecuting for more than a decade.. He get drunk  2x a week and said many things that bothers me and made me feel bad. I felt that Jehovah is using him to help me but Satan is also using him  when he get drunk.

One day, I prayed to Jehovah. "I couldn't take this anymore." and my father temporarily stopped.. until maybe in his convenient time. lol!

I was alone in the family before. It wasn't easy... I was broken inside and was broken financially.. But Jehovah helps and answer prayers.. Don't give up..

Within 5 years, my brother got baptized and now happily married to a sister. 

My mom was baptized too at age 52.. and she told me that this is her happiest moment in her life.. 

 

Before my mom was always depressed and she was telling about all of her pain and problems when I was 17 yrs that I wished I die due to mental and emotional stress.. But now,shes one of my spiritual support. 

 

So don't give up.. Continue to do good... meetings, ministry, prayer

I have one doubt Satan knows what we are thinking? Why i am asking this question because It goes against what I think of the mind

Maybe someone else can reference an article..What I remember is that no..Satan cannot read our mind. However, he  can observe what we do and say..He knows our weaknesses, but with Jehovah's spirit to help us, we are stronger than Satan. We have the most powerful persons in the universe on our side!

there's a talk entitled " An important reminder"  nice talk .. Its about our reaction when we suffer.. I can't find it in jw.org... It's easier to find in the separate broadcasting.

One happy news my dear brothers and sisters

Thank you so much for prayering for me

 

I've got a job. But that work will start from January. I am happy because my problem is solved. My family, who are no in the truth, will not accuse me. Jehovah did not abandon me even though it was too late. Now I have only one problem. This coming December 13th, 14th and 15th, The Regional Conference is to be held in a town not far from my home. It will cost. I don't know how I'm going to cover those costs. Because my family, who are not in the truth, will not give it. There are still months to the regional convention. Pray for help in some way.

Go to the elders in your congregation and explain your finances.  You may be able to stay at no, or little cost, with a Witness

family near or in the Convention city.   The Rooming Department deals with this all the time and it always seems to work out.
