Interesting. Even Scientologists are supporting this USCIRF thing. Will you ever see Jehovah's Witnesses supporting it, the ones who seem to be suffering the most persecution? Of course not. We are suffering persecution because we are no part of the world (among other things). If we supported it, we would be just as much a part of the world as they are. I think you know what that would mean. (James 4:4)

According to the article, the group (USCIRF) claim to have been instrumental in freeing a number of religious prisoners, including an  American Pastor.  Speaking about why this Pastor was arrested in Turkey the WSJ states
