Hi all, 

 

I know there is already a topic with website links that are produced/maintained by brothers & sisters, but I know a lot are outdated or aren't what I'm looking for. 

 

I'm looking for any Etsy shops, online shops, Ebay accounts etc, etc, that are by a brother or sister. I've recently bought two things from 2 sisters online, and it fills my heart with even more love that I'm helping a brother or sister. 

 

So if anyone has any links of their own shops, or someone they recommend, let me know! Anything will be of interest, from stationary, to jellwery, to art, clothing or plants! 😂 It would nice for others on the forum to have a look too.

I have had a look through the topic we have on such websites, to see which ones are still current.

Over at Etsy, you can search shops by name.  I searched for shops that start with "JW" and it pulled up 962 stores. 

 

Many are definitely owned by JW's  - thumbnails are shown of their products and, you can also quickly tell when you see the complete store name.  If you notice that the store owners first name starts with "J" and last name begins with "W" then the "JW" may only signify their first and last name, not that they are JW's.  Regardless, it's a fairly quick process to scroll through.

 

This "JW" search will also pull up stores like "Apeopleforhisname" and "Happiertogive" although the shop does not have JW in the name, or in the name of the owner - often they mention they are JW's in their store description.

 

Once you confirm a shop belongs to JW's, visit the shop (make sure you are logged in) and then you can select the  to select the store as one of your favorites.  Upon returning to Etsy, simply go to your "favorite stores" and they'll all be there.

Friends, be careful purchasing from stores on Etsy or anywhere for that matter.  Not everyone selling JW items are JWs.  I usually go look at what else they sell, try to read their about page to see if they identify themselves as jws, etc. 

 

Just today I was looking at stuff by searching for jw gifts.  I saw a store selling a JW Printable downloadable page of 10 business/contact cards that said "You are worth more than many sparrows" - Matt 10:26.

 

The problem is that the scripture is incorrect.  It should be Matt 10:31.  I looked up the seller and see that they sell stuff for christening, promoting being irish, etc.  Not something a jw would be into.  Unfortunately I saw that some have purchased he downloadable.  This means they will be passing out incorrect bible scripture.  😟

Just wanted to clarify that http://www.jwstuff4you.com/msgood is a JW shop on etsy. 

 

The shop that is selling the item with the incorrect scripture on etsy is: TheNakedTeapotCo so people know the shop.  I should have included that information in my original post.
