So not last Tuesday, but the Tuesday before I believe we were going over Nimrod or maybe that was three weeks ago. And the brother that gave the first talk brought out that right. Now we all speak the same pure worship language and alluded to the fact that in the new system. We would all speak one language like they did before Jehovah confuse the languages.

I agree with the one united language. I have heard that. But I was asking about it being Hebrew. Has anyone ever seen that stayed in our literature anywhere.

Peace...... Love...... &....... Paradise......

60 is the smallest number that is evenly divisible by the first 6 numbers. No doubt this is why we are still using 60 for telling time.  It can be broken into smaller units of time in multiple ways.

Being a Nurse, I always assumed that base 60 was accepted because it roughly and universally corresponded with the average and typical resting pulse rate of a healthy person.

Well Jehovah pick the people that spoke Hebrew. I just assumed myself that it would be Hebrew that we would all be speaking.

Modern Hebrew sounds so rough.... would prefer more romantic language like French or Italian ...

Perhaps Jehovah will create completely new language for us to use in Paradise?

Man was created as an intelligent creature with the desire to explore and understand :)

In our old publications that was taken for granted but you know our approach now is: where the Bible is silent we are silent.

In recent times the idea that Hebrew will be the language spoken in paradise has been suggested as a possibility only. Of course we won't know for sure until we get there. :)

Notice the evolution:

Our Incoming World Government (1977)

*** go chap. 1 p. 6 par. 4 The Next Rulership for All the Earth ***
The world government takes away all language barriers between its subjects. National pride of language is wiped out. National distinctions are gone! No one is a citizen of this or that nation. All are world citizens, yes, citizens of one new world. The one language that they all speak for mutual understanding is the language recognized and used by the world government, the official language. It is mankind’s original language, which everybody on earth spoke for the first eighteen hundred years of human existence. That original language was developed to a high degree and it never did really die out, for a small minority of people persisted in its use, also the greatest book on earth preserving it.

Worldwide Security Under the “Prince of Peace” (1986)

*** ws chap. 21 p. 176 par. 11 The Garden of Eden Restored—Earth Wide ***
Will the earth-wide Paradise suffer from the confusion of having many languages? No, because the “Prince of Peace” is also referred to as the “Mighty God.” (Isaiah 9:6) Thus he is able to reverse the confusion of language that began at the Tower of Babel. (Genesis 11:6-9) What will become the common language of all the earthly children of the “Eternal Father”? Will it be the original language of the first Adam, the language with which Jehovah endowed him? Likely. In any event, all language barriers will be wiped out. You will be able to travel anywhere and communicate with people. You will be able to understand them, and they will be able to understand you. There will be one language for all mankind, and it would be appropriate for the entire Bible to be available in that language. (Compare Zephaniah 3:9.) In that language all the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah “as the waters are covering the very sea.”—Isaiah 11:9.

Awake! (2000)

*** g00 8/8 p. 13 Languages—Bridges and Walls to Communication ***
Even now, a pure spiritual language—the truth about Jehovah God and his purposes—is uniting millions of people from all languages, nationalities, and former religions. (Zephaniah 3:9) Thus, it would seem logical that in his new world, God would further unite mankind by providing all peoples with one common language, reversing what he did at Babel.
