Isn't it true, brother Ray, that Catholic mass services are done in public, even right outside for eg. public places, like shopping centres? That whole culture is very religiously Catholic, so I can imagine that people are missing some kind of spiritual gathering. I have seen youtube videos of some kind of festival or march reenacting Jesus death - even people seriously hurting themselves.This is why I can completely imagine why so many video conferenced or dialed in to hear the Memorial as they must miss these huge gatherings.
