Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

Jehovah’s Wisdom—Unfathomable, Unshakable, and Supreme

Beyond the grasp of fallen minds, Jehovah’s wisdom shines,

His thoughts ascend, His ways are high, beyond created minds.

The rebel thought he knew it all, his schemes would rule the day,

But wisdom hid in sacred truth turned folly into clay.

He struck the Christ, yet sealed his fate—Jehovah’s plan stood firm,

The ransom paid, the grave unchained, redemption now confirmed.

No scheme, no ploy, no darkened lie can bend what’s set in stone,

The serpent rages, time runs thin—his ruin foreordained.

So trust in Him, whose wisdom guides, whose knowledge lights our way,

And rest within His mighty hand, His love will never stray.

Uilleann pipes

Wow, I didn't know it had a special name.

Quote

The uilleann pipes  also known as Union pipes and sometimes called Irish pipes, are the characteristic national bagpipe of Ireland. Their current name is a partial translation of the Irish language terms píobaí uilleann (literally, "pipes of the elbow"), from their method of inflation

One of my favourite Poems :-

1.  Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard BY THOMAS GRAY

The curfew tolls the knell of parting day,

The lowing herd wind slowly o'er the lea,

The plowman homeward plods his weary way,

And leaves the world to darkness and to me.

Wow, I almost grasped it... but then it slipped away like a greased pig at the county fair! I'm feeling lost in a sea of confusion... is this a secret code? Do I need a decoder ring? Where's the translate button? Can someone please call Google Translate and ask them to send help? I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown... my brain is crying out for mercy! PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS SANE, EXPLAIN IT TO ME AGAIN! LOL :lol1:

Man was created as an intelligent creature with the desire to explore and understand :)

Great poem, David, and it would set to music like the melody for our new song "Living Peacefully in a Peaceless World"

For our dear sister Mods. A Poem for My Sisters

(Read it when you have time... but dont forget to read it! emoji3059.png)...

I was sitting, on a summer day,
beneath a shady tree,
descending into a slumber,
when a vision came to me.

There was beating of a thousand drums -
the ground was shaking too.
Then over the horizon came
a woman into view.

And then another woman,
with a hundred at her heel.
They multiplied a thousandfold -
the vision was surreal!

Salvation was their helmet,
and solid faith their shield,
With righteousness as breastplates,
their hearts were well concealed.

A mighty sword they all possessed,
held tightly in their palms.
Was this the female army
indicated in the Psalms?

Their eyes were facing forward
as they marched in perfect time.
Then I recognized their faces!
These were sisters - friends of mine!

See there that single sister?
Satan put her to the test!
How she longed to have a husband;
to be loved like all the rest!

And there, that older sister,
though her spouse does not believe,
You'll find her out in service,
every morning, noon, and eve.

Another lost her husband,
yet she marches through her trial.
Says she, "He's on vacation -
merely resting for awhile."

And that one lost her husband
when he simply went AWOL.
He dropped his sword mid-battle,
yet she's marching straight and tall.

Oh yes, and there's my sister
with her young ones - quite a sight.
Her husband is in prison -
he refused to go and fight.

This sister here seems quite content -
her life seems quite ideal,
But what goes on behind closed doors -
she never will reveal.

In spite of all these hardships,
the women march on strong.
The old, the young, the strong, the weak:
they bravely trudge along.

And then, like lightening, one of them
stepped right up to my face.
"How dare you rest!" she said to me.
"There's no time left to waste!"

"Here, take this sword and take this shield,
this breastplate you must wear."
"Don't rest until the Kingdom News
is broadcast everywhere!"

And so I found my place in line,
with no time to debate.
For now I see the urgency -
my sleep will have to wait.

No time for insecurities,
no time for shrinking back.
Just time to get this preaching done,
false doctrines to attack!

So next time you sit down to rest,
or get the urge to snooze,
Or if you start to tire out
while preaching the good news,

Observe this military force,
just see what they can do,
And pray for strength from God on high,
then you can do it too.

This was Alan's poem.

This poem gave me goosebumps and chills all over as I read the descriptions of the individual sisters and got to the one about "This sister here seems quite content - her life seems quite ideal, But what goes on behind closed doors - she never will reveal." Thank you for sharing this beautiful encouraging and compassionately insightful poem.

A gun points

flash of pain

- faith-haters

no time

when fast asleep

- faith-wakers

death deposed

new-formed rose

- rulers for a day

city of light

healing all

- subjects forever
