I changed the word led to lead and is kept auto correcting. You probably thought I left it so David could correct me.

So, I know this has nothing to do with us, but is the Pentagon really allowed to decide what groups can be considered Christians (in a secular sense). I mean i know this has to do with military stuff and we have nothing to do with it, but would this be some type of back door to start determining what is and what isnt X religion?

She will no doubt be glowing in a different way when she is resurrected...

“This decrease in religious affiliation codes is not designed to make any claims on the legitimacy of any faith or religious belief, nor is it intended to provide a list of ‘officially approved’ religions,” Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said in a statement. “Rather, it is designed to allow chaplains to quickly look at the religious composition of their units and determine how they structure resources to best provide for warfighters of all faith groups.”

That's it....

You dont think that this could possibly create a snowball effect in the future? Like "We got away with this, lets try this?" or am i just being a paranoid potato?

It's small potatoes. Probably doesn't mean a thing. Don't worry about the little stuff, we'll know when the important stuff happens.

I had some time today and read up a bit about Shakespeare. I think I enjoyed his writings when I was younger and saw some plays. But, a few years ago, I happened to sit in on an English class here and the students were reading Othello. I noticed that in their book, every paragraph had an old-to-new English translation. I do not think it was useful since the language had changed so much,(even in past decades) but may be because of looking at Bible translations in archaic vs NWT. Or it's just that those writings are expressed better in performance.

Caught the end of Tony Awards and wondered if that was what brought on thoughts of plays and writers. Sure, anything I missed will be recast on news shows. If any one I would have liked to view, it would have been Laurie Metcalf or Ced ric the Entertainer. Arthur MIller's "Salesman" is too emotion charged for my taste. It was written and released before I was born and I read it in high school, I think. What was/ is your fave stage play or character? Billy Crystal was a presenter. One of my former students was best friend with his kids over 25 years ago and said Mr. Crystal was retiring then, and would not perform again without plastic surgery or somehow looking better. I thought he looked alright. Especially,  I liked Bernadette Peters.

I have not been walking my dog in this neighborhood b/c of bears. I carry her to my car for drives to change things for her when she wants to go out. A large bear ran in front of my moving car yesterday. Glad we were inside. Reports near here of dogs and their walkers being attacked by coyotes.

More animal news: A horse drawing a carriage in Central Park fell to its death yesterday. This practice needs to be reviewed.

It didn't actually "fall to its death," but just dropped dead due to exhaustion and overwork. Ryders law has been trying to get horse drawn carriages outlawed from central park since the '80's, according to the newsreel. Who knew?

Does the Bible show that Jesus healed any of his Apostles? Did Jesus heal any of their ailments, problems, medical issues? Why not?

Why did Judas take care of the money? Wasn't Matthew better qualified?

Inquiring minds want to know...🤣

Sea turtles are air-breathing reptiles with lungs located beneath their carapace and along the vertebral column. Sea turtles can hold their breath for varying durations depending on activity and species. While actively swimming, they typically dive for 20 to 40 minutes, but when resting, they can remain underwater for several hours.
