JWL cache

The cache in my JWL app on my android device is 1.6 GB. How does it affect the app if I delete the cache?

Cache is just that, a buffer for things that you have already accessed used to look them up again faster in the future. It does not affect any of the data in the app. I find it odd that your cache is that large, perhaps it stored some streamed videos in memory? It should be safe to delete any cache files from your settings -> storage menu. Though before that, still make backups of your JWL notes, and make sure you do not 'clear storage' or 'delete user data'.

I have an Android device and it is Setting>Apps>JW Library >Storage

I recently changed my microSD card to a larger card and I was attempting to import all of the videos that I copied from the old card into the app so I wouldn't have to download them again. I figured that is why the cache was so large but I didn't want to delete it until I found out if anything else would be affected. Thanks.

My cache is only 20 odd MB.

Changing SD cards was painful with my Samsung.

I think it would have been easier for me to delete the media from the app before I switched cards and then download it again.
