I would rather not go into detail on a public forum, but I am looking at changing the framework I use for a theocratic app.  I'd like to bounce some ideas around with someone who knows gmd or similar frameworks.  the project is currently written using CodenameOne and cross-compiled into iOSéAndroid and JS.  I dont know if this forum allows direct PM, but I can provide contact details.

Hi Peter, welcome to JWTalk!

Yes, you can PM members and receive PMs from them. I think you need to have a couple posts in order to be able to use the messenger, but you have them already. :)

Just click on any member's profile, then select Message.

I don't think anyone was asking you to reveal "trade secrets" ... but not all know what "GWT-Material-Design" is ...

GWT = Google Web Toolkit   It is an open-source set of tools that allows web developers to create and maintain JavaScript front-end applications in Java. Other than a few native libraries, everything is Java source that can be built on any supported platform with the included GWT Ant build files. It is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. GWT emphasizes reusable approaches to common web development tasks, namely asynchronous remote procedure calls, history management, bookmarking, UI abstraction, internationalization, and cross-browser portability.

Material Design = Created and designed by Google, Material Design is a design language that combines the classic principles of successful design along with innovation and technology. Google's goal is to develop a system of design that allows for a unified user experience across all their products on any platform

Codename One = A set of software development tools aiming to provide write once, run anywhere code for various desktop and mobile operating systems. It was created by the co-founders of the LWUIT project and first announced January 13, 2012

LWUIT  = Lightweight User Interface Toolkit is a Widget toolkit developed by Sun Microsystems to enable easier Java ME user interface development for existing devices, including not only traditional Java ME environments like mobile phones, but also TVs and set top boxes.

iOS, Android and JS (JavaScript) are all computer/device platforms and/or languages

I hope this helps for ones to understand what it is you are asking about ...
