White Stuff from the Sky Causes Havoc in Spain

Is your area, affected @carlos? As if Covid wasn't enough...

 

I doubt this is what all those Scandinavians were looking forward to, spending winters on Costa del Sol/the Canary Islands

It's everybody's area, I guess. All of Spain is covered with snow.

 

It was chaos last night when thousands of drivers got stuck in Madrid's main roads for hours. But they had been warned this would happen. This morning it's more of a curiosity. It rarely snows here, and never that much. So everybody is outside playing with the snow.

 

On the other hand, if this had happened in your country it would just be another normal winter. Here we are not ready for it.

Here in the United States it depends on what part of the country you live in even some states which part of the state.🙂

That headline was written that way to highlight that snow is so unusual in Madrid that people don't know what it is. Of course it's an exaggeration, but it's true we rarely see snow.

Get Head & Shoulders for all those Flakes out there. We have had several cm of flakes this morning - moving east into GTA-Toronto - they are getting more.
