Question about how our shared videos show up in WhatsApp

When you share the link to our videos, I noticed that some show (#2) a video image and others (#1) only the text.

- Is there a specific reason why this is the case?

- Is there a way that I can get videos that only show text to also show an image?

If you give the link a couple of seconds before sending, it will show the preview image.

Its a matter of time imho.

Thanks for the reply, appreciate it. It's true that if you wait a bit, the pop-up box appears. But in the box, you might have an image + text on the right side or just text.

The point is: Is there a way I can get an image in the pop-up box, even if it only has text like in example (#1)?

It just depends on what open graph data is contained in that particular webpage.

I think THIS is the answer, if you can understand it. I read the information, but for me this goes beyond what I can grasp and understand. 😆

If that metadata tag is only saved in the HTML page, then there is nothing you can do to change it. Only the brothers with privileges who have access to jw.org server can do so, and make necessary changes and additions. Us, as users, can not change that jw.org information.
