From July 23 to 31, publishers throughout Ukraine and in other countries where they have fled were baptized as part of the 2022 “Pursue Peace”! Convention. As of August 2, a total of 1,113 people from Ukraine have been baptized.

 

Some nice brief experiences from some of those baptised including Natalia, Olia, Yulia, David, and Maryna.

 

Effect on Our Brothers and Sisters (figures in brackets from the last update on 18 July 2022)

• 43 publishers have died (42)

• 97 publishers have been injured (97)

• 22,568 publishers are currently displaced (28,683)

• 24,867 publishers have fled to other countries and are being assisted by fellow worshippers (23,863)

Previous baptism numbers for Ukraine, for the WHOLE of the Service Year: 1,878 in 2021; 2,344 in 2020; 2,804 in 2019; 2,897 in 2018; 3,125 in 2017; and 3,440 in 2016.
