Do you think that local brothers and sisters are rolling in money there? It would be interesting to know how worldly possessions and avoidance of materialism are reflected in their everyday life in a country where most citizens are rich.

No matter how the wind howls the mountain cannot bow to it.

I think this would be a great place for cart witnessing, especially due to the huge amount of tourists.

After a 50 year presence in Monaco, we have at last gained legal recognition. This may well open up a new era for Jehovah's Witnesses there, as our status limited our activity, especially with regard to meeting places which have not have been permitted.  The Witnesses have had to meet in locations in France,  in Menton, Beausoleil, and Nice. The work there has been overseen by France in the past and  there have been no separate service reports for the country.

The US Office of International Religious Freedom reported in June 2022:  "The Jehovah’s Witnesses report 150-200 members who work in the country, 20 of whom reside there." This report provides some interesting background.  https://www.state.gov/reports/2021-report-on-international-religious-freedom/monaco/

There is no scriptural prohibition on being "rich", and rich people are not necessarily materialistic. It may also be that many there who accept the "truth" are quite modest in their means. So likely they will get on just as well as the brothers in other wealthy countries as they apply the Bible's counsel on such matters.

The coast along Monaco is absolutely beautiful, unforgettable. Where we stayed at the Monaco Grand hotel had breathtaking ocean views.

I was there for a company event in 2004 which was held at Prince Rainier’s hall of antique cars. Roger Moore was hosting the black tie event and I took a snap with him. We toured different areas of Monaco and across the border to San Remo, Italy. Rich and showy country, but great news to hear the most important thing is the spiritual riches that are now going to fill this tiny country. 👏
