Over the "holiday" period I am catching up on Doctor Who, and decided to buy some Classic seasons like those here:

I also got lots of animated (newly released episodes)

Which classic seasons do you recommend? (I can't buy the all, have to be selective, and I have all modern ones)

Is there anything you can input into this conversation/recommendation? And who is your favorite Doctor?

My favorite Dr was Tom Baker (4th Doctor) 

28 December 1974 – 21 March 1981

 

That would be seasons 12-18 I believe

I am watching today later in the afternoon "The Ark in Space" with Tom Baker.  (I have separate DVD with that episode) 

Also have some other episodes (DVD's)  with Tom Baker, but not full seasons yet. 

Tom Baker appears to be a very easy going Doctor, which I like a lot.

Jodie Whittaker’s time as The Doctor has officially come to a close. Now, the baton has passed on to the fourteenth Doctor, who will be played by none other than fan favourite, David Tennant.

Season 3 episode 10 - "Blink"

 

Some of the most tense TV i have ever seen. Could be a film on its own. Well worth a watch if you haven't already.

I do love some of the classic episodes especially as they had to come up with good storylines to make up for the bad effects. There's a good one in 'Tomb of the Cybermen' where they had to carefully hammer on an impenetrable door so the actors didn't knock it over
