Chew gum!

Recommended Posts

I need some material that talks about the importance of having good manners, for example, avoiding chewing gum or candy when doing some theocratic activity, such as working with carts, in field service, when attending meetings, taking care of the microphone, or indicator, or some part, I already read something a long time ago but I can't find it, it's not wrong to chew gum but I believe it proves to be a bad testimony, a lack of education, imagine, talking to a resident about the Bible with gum in the mouth, I don't think it's correct, if anyone can help or say something about it I'd appreciate it.

Observation: I know there are some throat lozenges as medicine, many people need to use it for colds. this may be necessary.

Many of the skating rinks I grew up skating forbid the chewing of gum. One rink used to fine you 25 cents if you got caught. I think of how you chew the gum is the key. I know brothers who chew gum to help with anxiety while at the meeting.  I can see having a big wad in your mouth and blowing bubbles as a distraction.

I would not chew gum if I was interviewing for a job. I would not chew gum if I was in a wedding.  Again, it comes down to the way we chew gum. It all comes down to how others see us, if we chew like a cow, maybe find a lifesaver instead gum.
