We did that as crazy youths at a local flooded field behind our grade school in Michigan, not using ice skates though, we were free foot sliding, I broke through up to my waist! It was a very cold walk home that day, I'll never forget it ! My pants were frozen !   Brrrrrrrr!!!!!!!    🥶
