Dubai Flood-Cloud seeding

Recommended Posts

I was curious about the cloud seeding talked about in relation to the flood. (There is no current evidence that the seeding caused the flood)

I found this science article interesting on what cloud seeding is and its pros and cons.

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

I was reading about that the other day and how it wasn't true that this particular weather wasn't from cloud seeding.

Apparently though, they have been known to use it over there just to get some rain.

There was, however, a very unusual weather event in Dubai, a hurricane named Hanna. It was this that caused all the flooding, though of course, the conspiracy theorists like to jump on the bandwagon.

Roll on the new world when none of this will be an issue ever again.

Don't give up .. it's just around the corner.

I remember my Geography teacher from over 35 years ago touching on that subject briefly. One of the demerits I recalled was determining the precise location of the rainfall during winds without messing up the soil and the aquatic life. He did refer to cloud seeding as artificial rain. Here is an article that explains the science behind Cloud Seeding

And from seeding to cloud brightening!

I had no idea they were doing this for years!

Cloud Brightening Study in California Is Halted by Local Officials

Officials in Alameda, Calif., have told scientists to stop testing a device that might one day be used to artificially cool the planet by making clouds brighter, reflecting planet-warming sunlight back into space.

The experiment, conducted by researchers from the University of Washington, involved spraying tiny sea-salt particles across the flight deck of a decommissioned aircraft carrier, the U.S.S. Hornet, docked in Alameda in San Francisco Bay. Versions of that device could eventually be used to spray the material skyward, making clouds brighter and fighting global warming by bouncing away more sunlight.

The experiment, which began on April 2, marked the first time in the United States that researchers had tested such a device outdoors. But on May 4, the City of Alameda wrote on its Facebook page that it had instructed the researchers to stop, citing possible health concerns.
