Missing Brochure

Under the purple JW app is the category Brochures and Booklets. Both my daughter and I have Android tablets and I have the brochure from 2014 "A Study Guide for God's Word" but she does not. I can share the brochure with her but the link just goes to the jw.org home page. We are both using English and I have tried other languages and the brochure isn't there. 

 

Any idea what is going on?

I don't have it either. According to the Index in the WTLIB, it is a non-English publication. How did you get it?

The 2014 “Study Guide for God’s Word” (sgd) brochure is a publication specifically designed for language fields where the 2013 New World Translation is currently not finished in full.

 

For example, publishers in Japan used this until 2019 when the revised Bible came out that year.

 

This publication is not really needed in English, because all the information of this book are already included in the 2013 New World Translation.

You can share the links from the above 2013 NWT and share this instead, as this is the one most people are using. You likely downloaded the publication long time ago when it was available.

A similar publication to this is 2014 “An Introduction to God’s Word.” (igw) This publication is not available in English likewise, but all the content of the book is already publicly accessible via 2013 NWT.

I really don't remember how I got it but maybe it was under the homepage on What's New. Reading it I did see it was very similar to some other publications but I just found it odd one device had access to it and another did not.
