Anyone else like them? They are a good band just the music a brother and my husband did a pretend concert on our anniversary, favorite song: here comes the sun/the inner light mix favorite album: love

My daughter and I are both fans..Of course, I was around when they made their first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. I didn't appreciate the music for a long time but I do now. My daughter really loves them, she was exposed to a lot of different genres of music growing up, so we enjoy them together now. My favorite is "Let It Be"..daughter's is "Here Comes The Sun" and "And I Love Her'..

The White Album was my favorite and my best group too. Then comes Chic and Kraftwerk.

I like the Beatles, too. Some of my favorite songs are "All you need is love", "Yesterday", "Hey Jude" and "Girl".

I like the Beatles also and have read many books involving them.

 

Favourite songs are Paperback Writer, Rain, Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane.

 

I feel that rock n roll music reached its apogee with Paperback Writer (only 2no chords and rocking riff) whilst Rain was the bellwether for what was to come (still annoyed it wasn't included on the new Red / Blue albums).

 

SF and PL was their maturing to the fore.

Yes! Like Beatles music very much.  I was around when they first came on the scene. We are going to the UK in May and Liverpool will be one of our stops where we will visit the Beatles museum.

There are a few hotels down the Albert Dock where the museum is located, I've visited it twice! Try and do the Beatles bus tour, pickup is about 50yds up the road from the museum entrance.  Whilst we visited both Lennon's and McCartneys homes, I cannot remember if they were both part of the tour as we did them on separate visits.
