I think it is just tricky Russian step to plug in Zaporizhska Power Plant into Russian electric network.

They cannot do it legally but as a formal saving world from catastropic yes.

The situation remains critical. The news is writing about the worst-case scenario. Even that it will be worse than the Chernobyl accident in 1986. I hope that this will not happen.

We will monitor the situation.

This comparation is not really adequate. Zaporizhya`s nuclear reactors are much much safe that in Chernobyl and even in Fukusima.

Additionnaly they are in "shut-down" mode during a long time.

Russians disconnected power plant from the only electric line powered from Ukraine to make grounds to add it to Russian power network.

And thus finish to occupate the nuclear object.

Safe operation of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) can be guaranteed only by the Ukrainian operator – NAEK Energoatom.
