What's the best bethel to go to?

Recommended Posts

You can do all 3 in a day, assuming you mean Patterson, Wallkill and Warwick.

They form a triangle that is about an hour drive between each ->

On paper.

I've done all 3. Twice.  At best you can do Patterson and Walkill in 1 day. If you do this, you will rush yourself and cheat yourself out of a wonderful experience.

Warwick itself will take half a day. Really, each one takes about half a day.  You also need to eat. And drive. And tours start at specific times.

I recommend doing 1 a day. Stay somewhere centrally located, like Newburg to make the daily drive easier. The last time we stayed in Fishkill and drove from there.

If you know anyone there, look them up. If they can, maybe they can be your tour guide. Sometimes they take you to areas not on the tour. Definitely see if they can get you lunch with the Bethel family.

If you are familiar with the Angry Orchard hard cider drink, it's home is a few minutes from Patterson. It's a nice stop.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Patterson is my favourite. If I could only do two it would be Warwick and Patterson. But highly recommend do all three (but not in one day! Never heard of anyone doing that)

If you can only do one this year, you can always make a goal to do another in a future trip.

At Warwick you won't see much of the facilities themselves, they are just offices. Your guide will use some panels to explain what they do there. Yet there are three wonderful exhibitions: one about Jehovah's name, another about the story of the Bible, and a third one, very impressive, about the story of our organization. Those three are a must-see.

I visited Patterson years ago and was not very impressed by the building itself. Offices and classrooms. However, now they have a whole town from Bible times. That must be fascinating to visit.

At Wallkill you will visit the printing house and see how the publications are printed. I don't remember any exhibition when I last visited, but that was in 2019, there might be some now.

I agree that one Bethel a day would be ideal. Two can be visited in one day, but you will be in a rush and will end the day exhausted.

We stayed close to Wallkill at the Harvest Inn at Pine Bush, a very nice hotel run by Witnesses:
