New Sentence Game using the Third Word

Not trying to point fingers, it's just that 'a', the third word in the sentence, was an interesting word to start a sentence with so, in the spirit of the game, I just went with it - like now 'to' is the third word that now needs to start the new sentence.

Or, originally Oppe, was extended in middle English. The contraction changed the second term in an alternative expression, as OR (and either).

OPPE was the third word, but I digress and will write a little about grammar, in general. When I was teaching (high school completion to all ages) I taught pronoun usage. Now people can choose which pronoun for self definition. I have not seen how that is on standard or high school tests if at all. Online pronoun quizzes seem the same as always. One thing I ran into when teaching is that students learned around third grade to always use "she and I" and never use "her and me" which is the correct form when speaking about the objects of a sentence. Ex: "The teacher gave sandwiches to her and me." is correct. The word most frequently used incorrectly was 'their.' I do miss teaching but each morning when I face the traffic tie-up reports, I am glad to be off road.

The OPPE acronym stands for Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation and is a continuous healthcare framework mandated by The Joint Commission to objectively track the clinical competence and professional behavior of licensed practitioners over time and relies on both quantitative metrics and qualitative data to identify performance trends and ensure patient safety.

Acronyms are common but were not so when I was born. My name, PAULINE, is from notes the nurse took when my Mom was in Labor. My medicated Mother uttered: This is -

Pleasant

And

Undying

Love,

I

Never

Expected, and when the nurse handed the paper over, my recovering mum said, "That's what I'll name the baby."  I'm glad she didn't use a seven word first name.
