like what ?

He was accused of molesting children in 1993 and his home, Neverland Ranch, was searched in 2003. The case was thrown out due to  lack of evidence in 2005, but Jackson did settle out of court with one child's family.

I know he was accused, but the post said he "did some terrible things", like what ?

Molestation cases rarely have hard and fast evidence; it's more he/she said. There is enough circumstantial evidence to convince people that something's not right.

Jackson's interactions with children (especially boys) have raised questions of what is appropriate and inappropriate behavior. Instinct is a powerful force. He did pay $20 million dollars to settle one accusation out of court. It doesn't prove his guilt, but it does make you wonder.

He left Jehovah ... isn't that bad enough?

If I was continually accused of something like that I would also settle out of court even if I was innocent

I agree something is not right, the allegations from all his accusers are universally sketchy. Culkin even said that sleeping in Michael's room meant sleeping in a room bigger than an entire average house.

That he never tried anything weird on him, and that he was just seriously a good friend and very understanding about being a child-star.

Clearly MJ was a bit crooked mentally from all the abuse and being exploited since he was so young, and he was just a dude who was robbed of his childhood by the music industry and craved one so bad he became a child as an adult.

Becoming inactive is a bad thing, but there is always a chance for them to repent and come back, like the prodigal son

He died before it happened, but Jehovah knows if he would have had a change of heart or not had he lived longer, and he can decide to resurrect him if he wants to

I thought the movie was pretty good. I loved hearing those songs again. His music was "off the wall". I like how and where they ended the movie without going into any of that ...

As for judging him ... Not my job and WAY above my pay grade. I am happy to leave all judging the one Jehovah appointed for that.

PS The one thing I hadn't realized is how long he lived at home with his parents. I thought he had The Neverland ranch before he started getting all those animals, but nope. Also, Bubbles is still alive and well.

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)

Was MJ ever been baptized? Or just a publisher ?

A sister who served in Santo Domingo with her husband as special pioneers about 30 years ago told us that she was baptized in the same convention as MJ.

Sometimes I make a little prayer for his kids and family. I can't imagine all the pressure and attention of being famous. That can (and has done) drive anyone crazy. They look so unhappy.

Will the kids and brothers and sisters react and come back during the GT? I hope some do. The same for the Wayans.
