Br. Paul, these are not files that I made or own.  Br. Eryk made them.  I just saved the files for use on several of my devices.  The link I sent to Br. Darren will work for anybody to download.  At the top of this page, Br. Eryk (the author of the files) has offered to discuss these files with anyone who wants to PM him.

I managed to install all the publications that Brother Erik sent me, and you did too. Here's the step-by-step:

 

1. Back up the JW Library

2. Uninstall the JW Library

3. Install the JW Library (older version), it can be from 2024

4. Download the publications from the link 5. Update the JW Library on the Play Store  Note: the publications you downloaded from the JW Library will need to be downloaded again

Yeah, this seems like the only way to do it now. I did an 'update all' on my PC for pending updates. And the KJV interlinear was also updated. Tried to delete and reinstall and couldn't. The KJV with Strong's Inline is intact though.

Yes I think that would work, but I am reluctant to do it because I will loose all my marked publications like WT study going back years.
I think I will just leave it there and ignore the KJV for now (with its more than 20,000 errors! - Benjamin Wilson diaglott - History of English Versions page 5)

Perhaps the programmers might look at it and fix it. I am using the latest JW Lib.

Would be OK if the latest version of JW Lib could completely delete the KJV for the catalog allow a fresh install of KJV.

I was replying to @Nede89, since he mentioned "PC" - I assume Windows. And jwlIntegrator will work on Windows without any issues.

Even the Android/iOS work-arounds don't necessarily mean you will lose anything - except some time :-)

As my tool jwsync.org has the share notes feature where you select certain tags or certain dates, etc. And export it into a json file and then someone can take the adjacent file and it will add just those notes to there backup.... I wonder if there's a way to extract all the Strong's references and make them as specific notes per verse... And create a json file with my site and share that... Might be worth looking into

I saw the post about jwlIntegrator and thought the initiative to create tools for our community was really interesting. I don't want to cause any drama or undermine the developer's effort in any way—I know how much work goes into creating utilities like this—but I just wanted to give a friendly and technical heads-up to anyone thinking about installing it, as I noticed a few points that deserve attention:

• Closed Source: The program is distributed as a closed executable. Since we can't read the source code, running this on your computer requires a blind leap of faith.

• Device Security: To run it on mobile, the tool requires rooting your Android or installing older versions (downgrading). This strips away important security layers from your device and leaves you without the latest updates.

Yes, you need to trust me. But I do this to limit the amount of information that it "out there" for anyone to misuse.

Rooting is an advanced procedure for those who want to own their device.

Downgrading to an older version of an app is only temporary and doesn't affect the device at all. You are simply installing an app that is not up-to-date. Once you install all the JWPUBs you desire, you can update to the most recent version of JW Library. Of course, you will once again lose the ability to install unsigned archives.
