What are the badges that you earn on this site? 

What is the purpose of them? 

And the other awards? 

Is there some kind of incentive to it?

Basically it means nothing ... no free trips or extra days of everlasting life ..

Just a feature in the commercial program.

Yes there is those kind of things on the site Duolingo that I am on it doesn't mean anything. 

And there is no subscription here.

It's called gamification.

NGL, I was very happy when I finally got that Grand Master badge. I took me 4 years to earn that highest badge.

If I only didn't forgot my old JWTalk account back in 2014 then I would probably already earned it a long time ago.

I suppose it's something to aim for, we all like a bit of fun. 

When I was a young girl, I went to my first party of witness children, and there was a game to find the scripture first to win the chocolate....it was my turn, and I still remember the book and chapter, Psalms 119.. don't remember which verse, it was 50 years ago:)

But after the chocolate it thrilled me I was getting to know the Bible!

Every one got the chocolate:)

I earned every badge in 2 months. I didn't interact for my first week, but when I saw badges I went hog-wild.

The interaction is the bit I like. I am not too worried about getting badges. Although if it is an incentive to some good:)

I was like that with the language site Duolingo. I became quite addicted to getting points. 

But since finding this site I am losing interest in Duolingo. 

I prefer this lingo:)

I'm a full-time carer at home and generally use zoom so I don't get much interaction with the brothers. 

This has become a lifeline for me:)
