Yes in Switzerland there was a -50% discount. We paid 2,500€ instead of 5,000 for 4 persons for 7 nights.

When we were delegates in Switzerland we thought we would spend way more than we actually did.

I made a table with some climate information to help my wife and I prioritize applications and dispel assumptions about some of these destinations. I wouldn't have guessed that Lusaka in July or Addis Ababa in January would have such a pleasant climate without checking, although I know these wouldn't be scheduled during a miserable season.

Temperatures are average low - high for the month. DP column is dew point, just to highlight the differences in perceived humidity, we're used to the dry heat of Nevada. Colors are Excel default ranges, not a definitive good or bad indication. Highlights that the Canary Islands might not be a good destination for my wife (she has solar urticaria, a sun/UV allergy). I've spot checked these numbers against secondary sources but doublecheck anything you might care about to make a decision.
