2027 International Convention dates

I logged into jw.hub this morning and noticed we were given a delegate code.  Most of the details for the convention are there with the exception of the accommodation list.

Was that delegate code where your Group code used to be? Or is it separate from the Application page?

A sister in our congregation just received confirmation that she was accepted. 👍🏻

The information has been updated to show she is going to London. You all take care of her next year, she is one of my congregation granddaughters 😁

¡Mi grupo y yo acabamos de ser seleccionados para Londres! ¡Qué emoción! Es mi primera vez como delegada.:D

Congratulations. Was London your first choice? I put it as my fifth choice, but I still haven’t received a response.

Sí, fue mi primera opción.

My first choice was Spain, my second was Denver, and then all the other options. Fingers crossed it works out! 🥹❤️

Enjoy it so much, and please keep sharing your experience with us! 💕

I think they still look for applicants to fill last minute cancellations

Thats true..
And maybe there might be a second round.
Why call the first round first, if there isn't a second
Maybe this thought is just a fruit of the desire though

Is it worth going to? What happens at this 'roadshow event'?

I could give my opinion but I'd say go to the one your congregation has been invited to and find out!

I can't believe how much more expensive travel to and around the USA is this time around compared to 2019.  Of course it doesn't help that the aussie dollar is worth 70 US cents.   The most expensive expense is our convention accommodation.  We are hoping to fly into LA stay with friends for a couple of nights then drive ourselves to Seattle.  We have 5 days to do that.  Any suggestions for routes.  We've already been to San Francisco, San Jose, Monterey, Carmel, Napa Valley, Yosemite and Sequoia so would like to visit different places. I'm thinking the coastal drive to Big Sur then cut across to inland and drive up to Oregon then Seattle.

Yes it isn't easy to arrange a travel plan. We struggle a little bit with where we should go and

what to see during our 4 weeks stay in Australia. The good thing is that the days before and after the convention everything is pre-planned according the JW program.

Our most expensive part are the flights, as we're flying Premium class.

We booked nearly everything already. Now the waiting game can begin.....

You are the first person I know who could actually make an application from Britain ...

I'm in the Portland, Oregon area. I'd love to meet and spend some time on your way to Seattle ☺️

I sure do wish I would ever be invited 😢 Thirty years - nothing. What is the secret? 🤷🏽‍♀️

I don't know the secret but the sister from my congregation that was invited is part of an out of state group.

Hey my sister would love to meet.  We are planning on coming to Portland so I’ll keep you posted.  We have been to Crater Lake but we are thinking about seeing it again.  I’ll be in touch.

This is our 2nd acceptance from 4 applications.  My niece seems to get accepted every time she applies.  I don’t know if there is any secret to it.  Our CO said they have applied lots of times including this year and have never been selected so you are not alone.
