2027 International Convention dates

Una hermana local se dirige a su tercer Congreso Internacional consecutivo; esta vez a Zambia. Estuvo en Indonesia este año y en Corea el año pasado.

Ojalá alguna vez me invitaran 😢 Treinta años y nada. ¿Cuál es el secreto? 🤷🏽‍♀️

It's a shame. I think there should be a rule that those who have attended an international convention in the last five years shouldn't be allowed to apply, so that people who have never attended get a chance. I've heard many people say that the selection process is random.

Has anyone been selected for Peru? 🇵🇪

No, aun no. Me aparece como "Seleccion preliminar en curso". En el resto, me aparece como "No seleccionado'. Yo aplique a 4 sedes, y Peru, que es mi primera opcion me aparece pendiente

We're in the same situation. I show as not selected for all four, and Peru is my only option left. Do you think there's still hope? 👀

I don't know the secret but the sister from my congregation that was invited is part of an out of state group.

I don't know anyone out of state doing anything, tbh. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I wish there was a database on the application site that allowed one to join a group in need of more people. Unfortunately, things tend to be about who you know, eh?

My personal experience is that statement is not correct. Last year many in our congregation turn in applications. The two Special Pioneers that spent many years at Bethel, were not accepted. I don't know what the selection process is and who makes the final decisions, but it seems unlikely they would know all the applicants that are selected.
