So what i do is ground beef or turkey. Cook together with garlic and onions salt pepper and maybe little mrs dash or other favorite seasoning. Then add 2 cans cream soup. I prefer 1 can cream mushroom and one cream broccoli. Then couple spoonfuls sour cream and bbq sauce to taste.

So yummy and easy. Good to freeze and eat later too.

I like to use the recipes on the following site.  I have put a link to their goulash recipe, but there is also a stroganoff recipe.  All the recipes I have tried from here have been excellent.  You can 'tweak' them to your own preferences.

I don't like to add prepared, canned sauces etc. and, for me, the fewer ingredients the better.  I like to be able to taste the flavours.

On a train from Prague to Berlin recently (it was a Hungarian train going from Budapest to Hamburg) I had a freshly made Transylvanian Goulash!  It was fantastic.  Prepared by the on-board chef.
