Car Wash...annoyances

Recommended Posts

A week ago I took my vehicle for a simple car wash. They talked me into getting a $70 wax job. I was busy at the time and so I did not redeem it until today. Went in to get my " buyers remorse wax" and here they are telling me that they can fix my windshield. I said what is wrong with my windshield? After they took out a magnifying glasss there was a little speck on my windshield. Good thing I don't curse anymore lol. They took 10 min to give me a $70 dollar wax. Good thing I don't believe in guns.

End of vent

It must have been a superdooper car wax.

I used a Turtle Wax last fall that took maybe 30 minutes to apply and remove. I was parked in the shade so I applied to the whole car at once instead of small areas. What I liked about it was for a long time the dirt would not stick and for probably 5 months I only hosed it off. It looks like you got hosed yourself.

Destiny.

Talk about windscreens. Last yr I took out some insurance for the 4WD.

It had a chip when we bought it.

It cost. $6. A month. I had to replace the rear windscreen.

As I had it up & one of the strutts gave way.

So shattered. I panicked at first. But ended up paying nothing for the glass. Then when we had a major heatwave. The front screen got a bigger crack.

So i Rang NRMA. Thought there was a limit.

But there is no limit. Which I was relieved.

Then while sitting in a car park in QLD.

The rear glass popped. So I had to have it replace again.

We found out.

My 4WD. Is hard to get spare parts. Including the Windscreens.

Go Holden. Not.

The glass that was fitted was not for my car.

So the Windscreens. Obriens had to go to a wrecker.

I discovered the self serve car washes. For $8 you can do the lot including the wax yourself.

I like to cheat some days. Go auto wash. For $10.

I like waxing & polishing myself. Especially when you get a nice shine. Reflexion

& blacken the tyres. Stand back see it looking buffed.

Thats me though.

Talking about car washes.....

Here in this town, we have a new drive through Large Fancy, car wash, I pretty much frequent the place I purchased an unlimited car wash Agreement.

There are two people that take the magazines.  A woman my age and a 21 year old man.

My car is clean for service and somedays, magazine placements. :D
