I'm planning to attend the district convention in the UK and I already checked our website (jw.org) but I don't show any. If anyone can give me any specific location and specific dates, that would be greatly appreciated!

The list of UK conventions above is a bit muddled half the addresses are with half other addresses - a bit confusing! We are at the Newcastle Metro Radio Arena, Arena Way, Newcastle-upon-Tyne from 28-30 June 2013. Nearest Hotel to that venue is Jury's Inn,Newcastle -upon-Tyne ; many JW's stay there. 

 

Bournmouth and Cardiff Wales are separate venues above and below this convention entry that have got muddled with it in the list. The Newcastle venue is right by the famous River Tyne and in summer, if it doesn't rain like last year, we can promenade along the side of the river at lunchtime chatting to friends.

 

Liverpool is a new venue and the city has many museums and places of interest at/near it's docks about it's famed maritime and Beatles history.

 

The Manchester Assembly is right in the city centre by the main Railway station. Brothers stay in self-catering city apartments in family groups as it is less than Hotels charge per night.Though we were once assigned there and the whole congregation block-booked the beautiful old Britannia Hotel, Picadilly. What we didn't realise was that one of the bar/restaurants in there was for transvestites - so we had to avoid that area!
